Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Postdoctoral Associate at Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ.
Applications are invited for motivated scholars to join the Cluntun laboratory in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Rutgers University – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
The Cluntun Lab focuses on metabolic regulation in cardiac disease, with particular emphasis on lactate metabolism and its role in conditions like hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The primary aim of this position is to use in vivo metabolic tracing, metabolomics, and mouse models to explore metabolic pathways influencing heart function and disease progression.

Qualifications
- PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related fields.
- Candidates in ABD (all but degree) status will also be considered.
- Strong background in in vivo metabolic tracing, metabolomics, and/or mouse work.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative research environment.
- Data Analysis proficiency
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Publication record demonstrating research experience
