With an aggressive plan for continued growth, we are currently recruiting for a customer-focused Inside Sales Representative. If you are the right person for this opportunity, you will have previous Inside Sales experience, where your consultative approach and technical knowledge was centered on providing your customers with a best-in-class experience!
Job Responsibilities
- Closes transactional customer sales opportunities within an assigned territory or specialty.
- Understands and communicates product knowledge to customers.
- Fields in-bound calls and provides answers to generalized product questions.
- Builds and maintains strong customer relationships to generate additional sales opportunities.
- Communicates sales opportunities and general information to customers.
- Prepares customer quotes and processes customer orders and credits, in a timely manner.
- Initiates RMAs, credits and adjustments and provides initial support with field related issues.
- Coordinates with Purchasing to provide assistance with setting product pricing parameters.
- Manages time effectively to ensure information is provided according to project timelines.
- Works closely with Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Documents sales activity and opportunities to ensure an established opportunity pipeline.
- Communicates and collaborates with internal / external stakeholders.
- Represents Coastal in a professional manner and builds collaborative relationships with customers.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Strong attention to details
- Excellent customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- General understanding of lumber products
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and systems
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Legally permitted to work in the United States
- Adaptable and willing to assume additional responsibilities
Education
- College degree or equivalent job related work experience
