Optomi, in partnership with a premier client in the non-profit field, is seeking a Project Manager/Business Analyst where you'll play a pivotal role in planning, managing, and directing the implementation of technology and business solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success from initiation to execution, solving complex problems and developing innovative solutions along the way. This position requires a positive mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage multiple concurrent complex projects, adhering to best practices and quality standards.
- Anticipate needs, risks, and challenges, developing effective solutions to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various functional areas and organizational levels to translate business objectives into functional solutions.
- Develop 'as is' and 'to be' business and technology process flows, working closely with business analysts to define project requirements.
- Translate vision and objectives from business stakeholders into actionable plans for technology solution teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- 9+ years of experience in project management and business analysis roles.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Proven track record of managing complex technology and data infrastructure projects.
- Experience in software development projects and Agile methodologies is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Holds PMP Certification
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner managing software development projects in a Cloud environment.
- Experience as a Business Project Manager/Business Analyst in an insurance, financial management, employee benefit administration or related field
