The Senior System Administrator (MSP/Windows) is a strategic technical and leadership position within the company. This position is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of customer’s IT systems, coordinating complex projects, and implementing IT solutions. You will also serve as a Solutions Architect, designing and implementing comprehensive solutions for our clients, particularly focusing on cyber security, networking, Azure infrastructure, server building, and advanced troubleshooting. You will lead a team of fellow Engineers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget.
Previous MSP experienced is REQUIRED.
Senior System Administrator (MSP/Windows) Qualifications:
- Previous Experience working for a MSP, CSP, or supporting multiple domains concurrently highly preferred
- Experience performing advanced troubleshooting and administration of servers, networks, and standard business application.
- Experience with Autotask and Datto RMM preferred.
- Experience managing IT projects.
- Experience building technical documents such as SOP’s, runbooks, and roadmaps
- Experience managing and servicing clients through RMM and PSA tools
- Experience leading a team highly preferred
Senior System Administrator (MSP/Windows) Technology Experience:
- Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, and 365 and Azure platforms
- Network design and administration (TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, VLAN, SDWAN
- Backup and Disaster Recovery – (Acronis and Veeam)
- Virtualization (VMware and Hyper-V)
- Cybersecurity
- IT Regulatory Compliance frameworks (PCI, HIPAA, NIST, CMMC)
- Azure administration and deployments
- VPN setups – preferably FortiGate
