We are seeking a licensed therapist for the open Senior Program Officer position to manage the Mental Health Services division of Community Human Services. Programs are primarily offered at the Family Service Centers located in Salinas and Seaside.
The Senior Program Officer (SPO) will provide leadership, direction, and supervision to clinicians and support staff while handling the day-to-day management of mental health programs, including outpatient therapy, parent education, supervised visitation, and domestic violence intervention programs. This role includes providing clinical supervision hours to outpatient mental health clinicians. Additionally, the SPO is responsible for coordinating mental health services with funders and other stakeholders, ensuring that contract and grant objectives are met.
A license (LCSW or LPCC) is required, along with certification or eligibility to provide clinical supervision. Experience with mental health Medi-Cal, electronic medical records, and billing software such as Avatar, as well as familiarity with accreditation processes like CARF, is desirable. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for this position.
