Job Description
Provides leadership and oversight to assigned areas. Supports strategic planning, execution, management, and continual assessment of program advancement. Assumes role alongside physician medical director/chair(s) in formulating and executing strategies, protocols, and guidelines to effectively address the requirements of patients, the community, and medical personnel. Maintains comprehensive oversight of care delivery across both inpatient and outpatient domains. Takes charge of fiscal responsibilities including the management of capital and operational budgets, alongside the evaluation of staffing requisites, aiming to deliver efficient services aligned with operational and financial objectives. Foster productive collaborations with diverse departmental leaders and executives to optimize organizational efficacy.
Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Education & Training:Active Maryland Registered Nurse license required.Master’s degree required.
Work Orientation & Experience: Minimum five (5) years of previous leadership experience at a director level with responsibility for overall departmental performance required. Working knowledge of process improvement principles and Joint Commission standards compliance required.
