The Director of FP&A is responsible for overseeing financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategy development. This high-visibility cross-functional role will work closely with the Finance & Accounting teams and support the C-suite, business unit leaders and functional leaders to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making. The Director of FP&A will ensure the company’s financial health through detailed analyses, robust financial models, and insightful reporting to align with the Company’s growth strategies.
This position requires a hands-on strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to translate financial data from various sources into actionable business insights. The Director of FP&A will play a critical role in driving the financial success and long-term growth of the Company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the Company’s financial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Partner with executive leadership and business unit leaders to produce comprehensive financial analyses and performance reviews that monitor progress against primary objectives.
- Develop and refine financial models to support major initiatives, including new investments, cost optimization strategies, and the expansion of the company’s Commercial businesses.
- Provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Participate in a wide variety of special projects and other duties as assigned.
- The Director of FP&A will report to the CFO.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a private equity-backed environment and with bank covenant reporting is strongly preferred
- Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field required.
- MBA or advanced education or credentials preferred.
- 7+ years of professional experience in finance required, within roles of increased responsibility.
- Extensive experience with ERP software platforms.
- Strong financial modeling, strategic reasoning, and process analysis skills.
- Proficiency with advanced data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 salary plus bonus
