JOB SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Compliance Analyst will assist in all activities and documentation associated with supply chain compliance and advancing best-in-class governance initiatives within the company related to its wood sourcing. The analyst will evaluate supplier practices, identify and implement best practices across the supply chain. The analyst will conduct data analyses of supplier performance and collaborate cross-functionally with procurement teams to develop and implement strategies aligned to improve traceability and compliance with company and customer goals. Their responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to the development of legal, ethical and environmentally responsible practices in the wood industry.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage activities related to Part/Product Qualification Process (PQP) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and complete tasks
- Manage data collection process for wood sourcing and Lacey Act with third-party solicitation servicer and with suppliers and factories and provide data analytics and monitoring of supply chain risks.
- Manage data collection process for composite wood sourcing and TSCA Title VI Compliance.
- Assist Supply Chain Compliance Manager with auditing, monitoring, researching, reporting, corrective actions and supplier performance improvement plans for all risk areas under the Wood Sourcing Supplier Compliance umbrella.
- Assist Supply Chain Compliance Manager with data collection and analysis, research and reporting for ultimate use in responses to customer surveys and any necessary corrective action plans.
- Perform supply chain mapping tasks as required to identify wood sourcing to point of harvest.
- Assist Supply Chain Compliance Manager with development and publication of standard operating procedures, process maps or flowcharts, supplier manual and other documentation or forms necessary to manage the Supplier Compliance function.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Sustainability, or equivalent industry experience.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and to drive continuous improvements.
- Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to complete detail-oriented tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Travel internationally will be required.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BI or similar tools.
- Experience in U.S. Customs matters.
