Job Title Corporate Bank Technology Change Advisory Board Lead

Overview
You will be responsible for the quality and oversight of Changes into Production affecting the Corporate Bank (CB) Application Portfolio, successfully enabling a growing business to achieve functional change objectives with minimal disruption. You will report directly into the CB Head of Change Management and drive the governance, oversight and controls required to ensure effective management of the change portfolio to achieve a Safer change environment.
You will lead a team directly to enable all facets of the Change Advisory Board (CAB) as well as matrix managing domain aligned CAB representatives. Responsibilities also include the improvement strategies to reduce the operational incidents as result of change whilst ensuring the functional delivery agenda is achieved.

What You’ll Do
- Supporting with chairing weekly CAB to review Change portfolio – identifying concentration risk, event conflicts, approving major changes
- Overseeing and execution (where appropriate) of key Change controls for which CB Tech are accountable
- Driving improvements to deliver a Safer Change environment and reduce operational incidents as a result of change
- Supporting and influencing the wider team to instill awareness of the need for safe change into production
- Maintaining CAB structures to ensure efficient oversight of change across the CB Tech portfolio
- Working with different teams across bank with the aim of influencing improvements in central change process and point of escalation for CB Change Management for Central Change Function and for business representatives

Skills You’ll Need
- Well organized, with ability to manage large and complex data sets in an efficient manner
- Comfortable with challenge and conflict whilst driving for desired outcomes
- Experienced in the techniques and methods around Change (Release Management and Change Management)
- Familiar with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and associated control gates
- Experienced in designing pragmatic and effective processes to improve the overall CB Change Management process
Skills That Will Help You Excel
- Previous Change Advisory Board management (CAB manager) experience
- Experience in Information Technology (IT) in large corporate environments, specifically in controlled production environments or in a Financial Services Technology
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure; Unix/Linux, Solaris, JAVA, PERL, Python, PowerShell scripts, Bash, Ansible, Control-M, Message Queue (MQ), Kaftka, Informatica, Oracle, MSSQL
- Familiar with GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Agile frameworks, Geneos, Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana & New Relic and knowledge of Cloud based technologies (Google Cloud Platform is an added benefit)
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer science or IT-related discipline (or equivalent work based experience or diploma) and ITIL Foundation certificate
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $125,000 to $203,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
