Adaptive Planning Systems Lead - New York - up to $170k base
Our client, a massively successful Software firm, is hiring for a Head of Business Systems. This company is HQ'd in New York with offices across the globe.
As the Adaptive Planning Systems Lead, you will be responsible for the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of their Workday Adaptive Planning system. You will work closely with finance and business stakeholders to drive effective planning, forecasting, and reporting processes. Your expertise in Adaptive Planning will be crucial in ensuring that they optimize their financial planning capabilities to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and administration of the Adaptive Planning system.
- Collaborate with finance teams to develop and enhance budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across the Adaptive Planning platform.
- Develop and maintain user training programs and documentation to promote best practices.
- Analyze system performance and implement enhancements to improve functionality and user experience.
- Work closely with IT and other business systems teams to integrate Adaptive Planning with other enterprise applications.
- Stay informed about Adaptive Planning updates and industry best practices to recommend new features and functionalities.
- Act as a key point of contact for user support, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing and optimizing Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Strong understanding of financial planning processes and concepts, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with system integration and data management best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
