Infinitek Group are working with a company who are continuing to develop and implement Commercial Service and Construction Solutions to the greater North Texas market. For over 40 years, our client has provided a complete range of top-of-the-line services from conceptual design and estimating to construction and ongoing maintenance. They specialize in HVAC, Mechanical and Plumbing Systems.
By applying LEAN principles, they provide continuous process enhancement to improve the value provided to their customers.
They are currently looking to hire PROJECT MANAGERS as their growth, client base and projects increase.
You will be part of their Project Management team and will be responsible for the direct management oversight and on-schedule, on-budget delivery of assigned projects. You will establish project objectives and procedures, maintain liaison with project stakeholders, and direct and monitor Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and financial activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Planning:
- Develop a detailed project plan, outlining timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
- Prepare a scope of work, ensuring clear deliverables are defined.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks (delays, budget overruns, safety issues).
Budget and Cost Control:
- Create and manage the project budget, ensuring that the project stays within financial constraints.
- Monitor expenses, approve invoices, and handle change orders.
- Perform cost estimation and value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
Team Coordination and Supervision:
- Oversee the performance of contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing according to plan, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Scheduling and Timeline Management:
- Develop and maintain a project schedule to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
- Adjust the schedule in response to unforeseen delays or changes in project scope.
- Manage labor resources and subcontractor schedules to ensure efficient site operations.
Risk Management and Problem-Solving:
- Identify potential project risks, such as delays, resource shortages, or compliance issues, and create contingency plans.
- Address and resolve any on-site issues related to personnel, equipment, or material shortages.
- Ensure that all work complies with local and federal building codes and safety regulations.
Contract Management and Client Interaction:
- Oversee the drafting and execution of contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Negotiate contract terms, handle disputes, and ensure that all parties adhere to contractual obligations.
- Regularly communicate project status updates to clients, addressing their concerns and feedback.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and enforce a site safety plan and ensure proper training for workers.
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal building regulations and obtain necessary permits and inspections.
Project Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including permits, inspection reports, contracts, and change orders.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, risks, and financial updates.
- Ensure all project documentation is filed appropriately for future reference and audits.
Project Closeout:
- Conduct a final inspection of the completed project to ensure all contractual obligations and quality standards are met.
- Manage the hand-over process to the client, including final documentation and warranties.
- Oversee project punch lists and ensure all outstanding tasks are completed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) can be an advantage.
- Familiarity with building codes, standards, and regulations, such as OSHA and LEED certifications.
- Understanding of construction techniques, materials, and processes, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural elements.
- Knowledge of contract law and various construction contracting methods (e.g., lump-sum, cost-plus, design-build).
