Title: Controls Engineer (VT Scada)
Duration: 1 year contract: extended continuously
Location: Georgetown, Ky
Hybrid Remote: Tuesday-Thursday on site; WFH Monday and Friday

Must Haves:
- 3-5 years of controls engineering experience x
- 1+ years of programming VT Scada (graphics, widgets, visualization)
- Familiarity with PLC’s, industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC) and database systems.
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Okay with 15-20% travel

Day to Day:
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for programming and maintaining VT Scada applications to monitor critical plant utilities, including water/waste management, tank farms, compressed air, and production lighting etc. They will travel 10% of the time to local sites for data integration and confirming data methods as well as connecting the data and visualization development. They will support program graphics, visual screens, and servers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with hardware troubleshooting as they will be working with the VT SCADA support team to troubleshoot issues.
