Overview:
- Experience in formulation or manufacturing of consumer/pharmaceutical products is highly preferred.
- Experience with consumer products, such as skin care, skin cleansers, hair care, oral care, baby care and/or deodorant products is highly preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- MS Office proficiency and solid presentation skills are required.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment while being an individual contributor required.
- Experience managing projects is required.
Person will be responsible for :
Prepare and produce batches of up to 6 kilograms for laboratory testing for various personal care and OTC products. Generate essential data that supports Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Real-Time Release Studies (Design of Experiment).
Employ Process Analytical Technology (PAT) to facilitate real-time data analysis, measuring critical parameters such as viscosity, turbidity, pH, temperature, and density to ensure product quality and consistency.
Conduct a series of comprehensive laboratory tests to gain deeper insights into material properties, including Rheology, Particle Size Analysis, Foam Density, Microscopy, and Brookfield Viscosity.
Employ advanced analytical techniques to accurately measure thermal conductivity and heat capacity utilizing Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) machines.
Develop robust laboratory protocols that outline methodologies for these measurements. Record all data in various software (LIMS, ELN, Fusion).
Facilitate the procurement of raw materials by coordinating with suppliers to ensure the timely ordering of necessary components for experiments
Assess impact of raw material changes to different kinds of formulations
Execute technical aspects of projects, report metrics, and interact with cross-functional teams
