ABOUT THE JOB
The Healthcare Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and successful completion of our healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture or design, with specific experience in healthcare facilities. This role requires exceptional project management skills, a deep understanding of healthcare operations and regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
This is a hybrid role with an expectation of being in-office a minimum of two days per week which should be on one of the Firm’s three anchor days which are Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday. Occasional travel may be necessary.

What will you do in this role?
You will…
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of healthcare architecture and design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of project teams, including architects, designers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure cohesive and efficient project delivery.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation, adapting as needed to meet changing requirements and challenges.
- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and healthcare standards, including safety and accessibility requirements.
- Provides thoughtful expertise and deep understanding of MEP, structural, and vendor coordination on healthcare projects with a variety of project delivery methodologies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and stakeholders to understand their needs, workflows, and patient care philosophies, integrating these insights into project design and execution.
- Facilitate project meetings and presentations, effectively communicating project status, milestones, and outcomes to all stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project objectives.
- Contribute to the firm's knowledge base and expertise in healthcare design, staying informed of industry trends, innovations, and best practices.
- Provide mentorship to team and play an active role in Healthcare Studio initiatives.
What you bring to be successful:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in project management software, as well as design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or architecture/design (e.g., AIA, NCIDQ) is preferred.
