ResponsibilitiesOverview:
As a Project Executive for Gaylor Electric, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing electrical projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and technical expertise in electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee all aspects of electrical projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to ensure their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including electricians, subcontractors, and support staff, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that electrical installations comply with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, proactively addressing any issues that may arise during project execution.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop project budgets, monitor expenses, and track financial performance to ensure projects remain profitable.
Procurement: Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all project personnel, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and other relevant records.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
QualificationsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in project management within the electrical contracting industry, with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Experience managing large scale data-center and mission critical projects.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Working Conditions:
This position typically operates in an office environment but requires frequent visits to project sites.
Travel may be required depending on project locations.
The role may involve working evenings, weekends, or holidays to meet project deadlines or address emergencies.
