Job Title: Electrical Systems Engineer

Job Overview:
FLYTE® are working with a well-established and successful aerospace organisation, renowned for the development of advanced avionics and aviation technology, providing a range of products and services for various aviation sectors, including general aviation, commercial aviation, and military applications.
About the role:
Due to continued growth and the award of several new programmes they are looking to hire an electrical systems engineer to offering full lifecycle electrical systems, engineering and design support, across flight displays, navigation systems, autopilot systems, and communication technologies, all designed to enhance safety, efficiency, and situational awareness for pilots and operators.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead development of complex systems, products, and services.
- Develop top level system architecture, taking development through from system requirements to certification and delivery.
- Full lifecycle design and development on a range of electrical and electronics systems and equipment.
- Perform technical market research on emerging technologies and competitive avionics solutions.
- Define and maintain system architectures and requirements.
- Understand and communicate customer expectations across aviation markets.
- Mature product/feature concepts and manage roadmaps through periodic reviews with leadership.
- Plan and execute integration testing to validate user experience and verify system requirements.
- Proactively improve processes, tools, and procedures.
- Support certification working in line with relevant civil or defence regulations and standards.
