YOUR IMPACT
As the Director, HR Business Partner, you will play an essential leadership role in developing and executing strategies that advance our mission and deliver an exceptional employee experience. Through partnership with our leadership team, you will ensure our talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development initiatives enable our team to deliver on our mission. By providing expert guidance on people strategy and planning, employee relations, and change management, this role enhances organizational agility and resilience. You will oversee the HR team including talent acquisition, operations, total rewards, and employee services, leveraging people insights to make informed decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor on all HR-related matters, providing insights that align HR strategy with organizational objectives
- Collaborate with leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support talent management, employee experience, and growth and development
- Lead the design and execution of talent management programs, including performance management, talent assessment, total rewards, development, and retention strategies
- Ensure the organization attracts, retains, and develops our people, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment
- Serving in a leadership capacity, create education and connection opportunities in the organization through our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee.
- Build organizational capability by providing coaching and guidance to leaders on performance, leadership, and employee relations
- Serve as a steward to our culture by creating and leading initiatives that nurture employee engagement and drive organizational effectiveness
- Oversee HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- 7 years of progressive HR experience, including 4+ years in a HR Business Partner capacity and leading others
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategic objectives into people solutions and services
- Strategic thinker, with exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate people and organizational needs, offering proactive and innovative solutions
- Ability to maintain composure, provide clear direction in complex challenges and capable of influencing outcomes across stakeholders
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful strategies in talent management, organizational development, and employee experience
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire trust and confidence across the organization
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to independently manage multiple competing priorities, collaborators, and deadlines
- Expertise in coaching, advising, and relationship building
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR compliance
- Proficiency in HR systems and people analytics

HR Certification (e.g. SPHR, SHRM-SCP)
Prosci Change Management or other Change Management certification
