EPIC INPATIENT CLINDOC ANALYST
Location: Daytona Beach, Florida (On-site).
Salary: Up to $110k, plus benefits and relocation assistance.
SUMMARY
As Epic ClinDoc Application Analyst, you will serve as the primary support contact for specific Epic applications, playing a crucial role in the organization's operational health and project success. Reporting to the IT Manager and through extensive collaboration with various stakeholders in multiple clinical departments, you will have a crucial role in the transition to Epic. This position involves a mix of operational experience, project management, and organizational skills, ensuring that project teams remain focused and that the Epic system aligns with the organization's business needs.
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, etc.) preferred.
- Epic certification in Inpatient Clinical Documentation or Inpatient Procedure Orders – Current upon hire.
- Additional certifications in Stork, Clinical Case Management, Inpatient Rehab, or Bugsy a plus.
- 3+ years’ experience with Epic EMR implementation, configuration, and optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- IT team lead experience preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the implementation, build, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system with a focus on Clinical Documentation and workflows.
- Guide workflow design, system build, and testing, and tackle technical challenges associated with Epic software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Epic applications.
- Provide training, support, and troubleshooting for the system and its applications.
- Support other IT applications and participate in On call rotation.
- Function as a liaison between end-users, Epic implementation staff, and business stakeholders to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and modifications based on organizational requirements.
- Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives and participate in project team meetings.
- Prepare reports on how changes may impact other programs.
Mentor junior analysts and share best practices.
