Position Overview:
This role is responsible for the management and delivery of BAU (Business as Usual) data center operations across the Americas, including Enterprise, Colocation, Exchange, WAN, and Cloud facilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a senior leadership role, with experience managing organizational culture, talent development, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the operation and maintenance of critical hardware break/fix services, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change), and Smart Hands support across the company’s data center infrastructure. The role encompasses team leadership, critical event management, incident and problem management, change and risk management, as well as cost and contract management. The candidate will also be responsible for managing key relationships with internal clients and stakeholders.
Additionally, this position requires the ability to provide 24x7 on-call escalation support, with occasional scheduled weekend work as necessary.
