⚡ Software Engineer (Strong AI focus)
🌍 San Francisco (2 days per week in San Mateo)
💲 $130,000 - 150,000 base salary plus equity in Series A
A GenAI start-up focused on employee learning and education is searching for a Software Engineer with an AI background to join their team.
They've raised a Series A this year and are carefully scaling their teams out in line with their scaling revenue.
They're looking for someone with at least 3 years of professional experience (ideally a start-up) who has experience shipping AI/ML products. You should be passionate about the future of GenAI in education
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our generative AI features, aiming to create engaging and user-friendly experiences.
- Assist in the engineering processes, including model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and coding, to support key product features.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers and stakeholders to design and implement features that align with current and future needs.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and best practices.
Requirements:
- At least 4+ years of experience in a software engineering role, with a recent focus and experience shipping AI/ML products, ideally in EdTech
- Exposure to LangChain and familiarity with its application in AI development.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Enthusiasm for using generative AI to impact the education sector positively
