Sterling Search Partners is helping a Birmingham client with its search for a React Developer. We are seeking a skilled React Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for building user-friendly web applications using React.js. You will collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create seamless user experiences and ensure high performance and responsiveness.
C2C is not an option for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React.js.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and visually appealing interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a React Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
- Knowledge of server-side rendering (e.g., Next.js).
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
