Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Experience with Yokogawa CentumVP DCS
- Ability to use the Yokogawa Historical Report utility (DCS alarm/event history) to troubleshoot and determine the cause of process upsets/plant trips
- Ability to use Yokogawa ExaQuantum (DCS Data Historian) or PI to trend process variables
- Ability to make DCS graphic changes
- Ability to make DCS logic changes
- Familiarity with batch programming and the ability to troubleshoot Yokogawa SEBOL programming
- Familiarity with Fieldbus instrumentation and the ability to configure/commission fieldbus instrumentation in the Yokogawa DCS
- Ability to use the Yokogawa Prosafe software to investigate IPF trips (this would be a bonus, but not absolutely necessary)
- Ability to diagnose DCS hardware issues and replace controllers and I/O modules if needed

Qualifications
Education
Required:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Yokogawa CentumVP DCS
- Ability to make DCS graphic and logic changes
- Working knowledge of process safety standards
- Familiarity with Fieldbus instrumentation configuration in the Yokogawa SEBOL programming
- Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills.
- Recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
Preferred:
- Programming experience with Triconex and/or DeltaV SIS
- Communication and leadership skills with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage ambiguity, communicate and lead effectively in cross-functional teams
