Join one of San Francisco’s leading satellite companies as a Financial Controller. In this role, you will oversee all financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can manage daily accounting functions while contributing to long-term financial planning.
Financial Controller Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Lead the budgeting process and prepare forecasts to guide the company’s financial strategy.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and investments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including government contracting requirements (FAR, CAS).
- Coordinate financial audits and serve as the liaison with external auditors.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
Financial Controller Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
