Brooksource is partnering with one of our largest insurance clients to find a Digital Product Owner to join their Provider Communications team. This role will drive the implementation of the client’s provider digital strategy across web and mobile platforms, focusing on continuous improvements to the digital self-service experience. The Digital Product Owner will prioritize and manage the product backlog for IT partners, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the organization, monitor the performance and operational efficiency of digital products, and play a key role in promoting cross-functional team integration for the seamless delivery of provider communications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develops customized strategies for provider digital assets that align with current corporate and divisional strategies within the Provider Communications arena to meet/exceed customer/provider objectives.
- Leads voice of the provider for the end-to-end online healthcare operations experience.
- Develops strong, trusting relationships between BCBSAL and external vendors, providing leadership and support during strategy, ideation, and execution.
- Manages expectations of internal business owners, bringing issues/concerns to management’s attention before they become problems, offering solutions, balancing priorities, and advising of potential delivery delays.
- Researches, develops, and manages product roadmaps for provider digital assets to build best in class digital experiences for our providers.
- Leads, prioritizes, and manages the product backlog for IT partners.
- Creates, coordinates, and conducts ongoing usability testing with providers to ensure vision is aligned with provider needs.
- Proactively keeps abreast of all marketing and media plans, and provides digital solutions including site optimization, digital promotional ideas, mobile, etc.
- Ensures that brand and Digital efforts are effectively integrated—as well as properly socialized throughout the appropriate areas for approvals.
- Develops and delivers compelling presentations on the state of the strategy and frequently delivers to both internal and external audiences (all levels).
- Lead collaboration with web analysts for campaign performance reporting, establishment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and presentation of campaign and property performance results.
- Analyzes data, research, and results to make recommendations on enhancements and updates to digital tools and platforms.
- Accomplishes all assigned job functions in a manner that optimizes departmental effectiveness while maintaining confidentiality.
- Tests digital products through the development lifecycle to ensure provider experience and web style guide needs are me.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience being a contributing team member on a diverse team that is successful meeting corporate goals and objectives.
- Experience creating strategies with multiple stakeholders and corporate goals in mind and experience working with the team to execute over many different mediums within budgetary constraints.
- Broad knowledge of brand guidelines, healthcare operations, , strategic and operational planning and project implementation, performance monitoring and budgeting.
- Strong organizational and work planning skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills.
- Experience building productive team relationships, negotiating, and working effectively in leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience thinking strategically, developing ideas, and executing plans.
- Experience managing multiple priorities, formulating, and executing solutions.
- Experience making decisions and recommendations in a fastpaced, deadline-oriented environment.
