For the position of Landscape Architect, we are looking for a talented, creative, and relationship-oriented individual. The primary focus of this role is to lead and assist with the design, planning and execution of a variety of landscape architecture for large-scale residential properties.
Responsibilities:
- Develop designs that work well with our client’s vision, integrating pools, hardscapes, landscaping, water features, lighting, structures and exterior building enhancements.
- Participate in development of construction drawings, specifications, material selections, and site reviews.
- Develop site design concepts and analyze site layouts in digital and hand-illustrated formats.
- Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents.
- Collaborate with in-house teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers.
- Demonstrate solid communication skills and attention to detail.
- Perform due diligence associated with municipality and HOA requirements for design and permitting.
- Proficient with site visits and preparing reports with accurate photographic documentation.
- The ideal candidate should be able to perform well solo or in a team environment, show enthusiasm for the profession, have excellent design, communication and organizational skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program.
- 5+ years of professional experience within Landscape Architecture.
- Experience with developing and following a formalized QA/QC program.
- Ability to translate abstract design concepts into functioning design documents.
- High-end residential project experience.
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Pool Studio, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion and Revit; Pool Studio experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional design and technical knowledge.
