About the Company:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated I.T Systems Administrator that will play a key role in supporting IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and various systems. This position involves assisting with the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems to ensure their optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for providing excellent I.T support and helping maintain our I.T infrastructure.
About the Role:
IT Systems Engineer
Responsibilities:
Server and Network Administration:
- Monitor and maintain server performance, security, and availability.
- Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor system performance and promptly address issues to ensure seamless operation of IT services.
CRM and ERP Administration:
- Administer and support CRM and ERP systems, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
Hardware and Software Deployment:
- Set up and deploy laptops and servers for end-users.
- Install, configure, and maintain client hardware and software applications.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Maintain documentation of IT processes, configurations, user guides and assets.
- Procure I.T equipment as needed.
Maintenance and Upgrades:
- Regularly update and patch systems to ensure security and functionality.
Security and Compliance
- Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard IT systems and data.
- Assist in planning and executing IT projects and system upgrades such as ones pertaining to CMMC and ITAR.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent 3-5 years work experience).
- Proven experience in server and network administration.
- Knowledge of client/server environments in Windows OS.
- Proficiency in managing cloud services (Azure) and their integration into enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Office 365 environments.
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
- Troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S citizen due to DoD regulations; CMMC and ITAR requirements.
