The Choice Inc is seeking an immediate Senior Administrative Coordinator for our client, a prominent conservation nonprofit.
This position will start on a temporary basis, but there is full intention of temporary to hire, if it is a good fit.
The Senior Administrative Coordinator will provide direct support to a key division leader at the organization. The ideal candidate will have/will be:
- Strong, previous administrative experience supporting a senior staff member.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- An interest in the environment/conservation a very large plus!
- Availability to start a position as soon as possible and open to hybrid in office schedule
Job Duties will include:
- Provide administrative support to the division officer and leadership team including coordinating travel, calendar management, preparing and processing expense reports, contracts, and invoices.
- Coordinating meetings with various internal and external stakeholders, reserving meeting space, distributing agendas, preparing meeting agendas and materials, take and prepare meeting minutes, as necessary.
- Assisting in preparing monthly corporate card expense reports.
- Preparing presentations for the division officer as well as leadership.
- Providing as-needed support for high-profile events at the organization
The office is located in downtown DC and is very Metro accessible. The required hybrid work schedule is 8-10 days a month in the office. This is not a fully remote position. Candidates must also be fully vaccinated and boosted for Covid.
