ABOUT THE ROLE
The Practice Manager oversees both clinical and support staff in the market with a focus on delivering IVX Health’s care model through day-to-day operations oversight. They maintain and promote strong relationships with referral sources in the market, problem-solve patient and provider needs to ensure timely and reimbursable care, and work proactively with central / corporate IVX Health teams to “Make It Happen” in the operating market. Working closely with the Regional Operations Director and clinical leadership, they ensure the highest standards of care are provided to our patients resulting in market leading patient satisfaction and outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the center(s), including being an on-call and escalation resource as needed.
- Manages clinical and non-clinical staff, including all administrative functions such as payroll, scheduling, PTO management, and individual performance improvement.
- Owns Front Desk Operations success including pre-visit verification, onboarding, patient scheduling and re-scheduling / retention, and components of both front-end and back-end revenue cycle mandates (select drug procurement types, prior authorization support, clean EMR documentation, etc.)
- Partners with Regional Operations Manager on deploying Front Desk Operations continuous improvement and operational success initiatives within the market. Contributes to the development of these initiatives with Regional Operations Manager.
- Directly inform P&L success, in partnership with local Regional Operations Director/Regional Vice President, through daily and weekly execution of the IVX playbook
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and excellence while implementing IVX policies and procedures to enhance the IVX patient experience.
- Work cross-functionally with the central operations, revenue cycle, and support teams (Finance, Marketing, etc.) to root cause problem solve and identify opportunities for improvement, all in service of patient care needs and market growth.
- Effectively communicates and disseminates information to market staff to promote team alignment, drive results, engage team members, and achieve ultimate business goals.
- Ensure patient census growth through strategizing and collaborating with Business Development Managers
- Own non-referring vendor relationships with supervising physicians, non-profit partners, strategic drug reps, and others.
- Expected to maintain and be up to date with industry trends and developments, ensuring that the PM serves as a trusted partner for stakeholders inside the clinic and outside in the market the role serves.

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Minimum 2 years management experience in a healthcare setting
