Account Executive
The Account Executive will have the opportunity to work with a large book of business of existing customers. We are looking for an AE to help us manage a sales territory of several open accounts, building relationships, and networking to meet new customers within each client account. Some of these clients have an existing revenue stream and some have a signed MSA with no current business yet. This is a great opportunity for a “farmer” who likes to build new relationships, obtain referrals to our clients’ colleagues, and creatively grow existing business.
You will partner closely with technical and executive level leadership at our clients to provide expertise and direction on their efforts to build their teams. You will also be in the unique position of helping individuals through their job search process, sharing helpful guidance and coaching them along the way. You will use your sales abilities in combination with your problem solving and critical thinking skills to impact all steps of our delivery process to our customers. We have a very strong recruiting team that will support you in your efforts.
Duties of the Account Executive include:
Identify business opportunities and develop strategies to achieve new areas of growth within existing client accounts.
Drive increased revenue to achieve ambitious growth, through networking, generating new leads, and enhancing existing client relationships.
Adopt a professional, consultative, and knowledgeable approach to each business interaction to cultivate strong, trusted partnerships with clients.
Develop deep client knowledge, understanding industry and technology trends to assist with strategic staffing plans.
Confer with clients to identify current needs, job specifications and required skills.
Assume a leadership role within our internal team and help guide colleagues to find the right candidates who best fit with our customers’ teams.
Develop and maintain client contacts through networking to extend the Talent Group brand and value proposition.
Think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate effectively both internally and externally.
Requirements of the role:
7-10 years’ experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and deliver quality client solutions.
Inner drive to pursue new challenges and cultivate account growth.
Innate ability to connect with people and enjoy building relationships.
Ability to listen well to assess client needs, understand problems and summarize requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client demands are met.
Passion for business, technology, helping people and delighting clients.
Must be a self-starter, have personal integrity, and excellent communication skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Agility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience working with Technology / IT teams.
- Experience in Staffing a plus, not required.
- Experience in Sales a plus, not required.
- Experience with Analytics, ERP, Software Development, Cloud based apps, or Healthcare IT a plus.
