We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the design and construction of multi-million dollar data center projects in Reno, NV. This is a unique opportunity to manage large-scale, innovative builds within the mechanical contracting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and track project financials, providing regular reports to executives
- Coordinate across teams, including field supervisors, CAD/detailing personnel, project engineers, and accounting
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery
- Handle change management, including creating estimates, budgets, and proposals
- Manage and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors
- Attend project meetings, mentor team members, and foster strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and potential future opportunities
Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain diplomacy and tact in high-pressure situations
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
- Effective time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience managing construction projects, preferably in the mechanical or data center sectors
