Digital Transformation Director - Manufacturing

$220k base salary
I’m working with a rapidly growing organization in the Oil & Gas industry who are looking for a Digital Manufacturing Director to join them in their Austin, TX location.
This is a crucial position for the future of the business as they look to drive new digital transformation and industrial automation initiatives across their existing operations as well as expand their operations across several new locations. This role will have the opportunity to build and scale a team in time and from day one will be overseeing a Production Engineering team who will be on hand to support the rollout of new Digital Transformation initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong background developing and implementing short & long-term strategies as it pertains to Digital Transformation within the manufacturing space
- Solid understanding of Industry 4.0 & Smart Manufacturing principles and how the can be effectively implemented in manufacturing operations
- Experience leading digitization and automation projects that bring together the manufacturing operations and advanced technology functions
- Ideally has a background operating in the Oil & Gas industry (willing to consider applicants from similar/interchangeable manufacturing industries)
