Summary:
We currently have openings for (1) Ambulatory staff, (1) Ambulatory/ Provider, and (1) Radiant/ Cupid credentialed trainers. (Total of 3). These roles should start THIS WEEK and travel Monday, 9/30. Please only apply if you can be available immediately and meet the skill sets needed.
This is for a client spanning the Mountain West and requires being onsite. They are converting their non-Epic locations to Epic and are also standardizing their existing Epic locations.
- Heavy on-site – trips home once or twice a month, likely not more than that
- Per diem and expenses are covered
- Rate $50-52/hour W2 (no C2C at all), depending on certifications and clinical licensure

The Epic Credentialed Trainer has the responsibility to work in collaboration with the Epic Principal Trainer to implement a comprehensive training program for an assigned group of end users and assigned applications for the organization’s electronic healthcare record. Applicants should display excellent technical knowledge and public speaking skills. This position will require a high degree of discretion, professionalism, and organization, as well as a strong ability to establish positive and effective working relationships with leadership and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

- Successfully completes the Epic Education credentialing program for assigned applications and courses
- Delivers Epic and related third-party training initiatives to a defined group of users in the classroom, one-on-one, and virtually as needed
- Proficient in assigned Epic applications and related workflows and stays up to date on changes
- Provides Elbow and virtual end user support as needed
- Provides feedback to Epic Principal Trainer to ensure training satisfies the audience requirements
- Participates in testing the training environments
- Collaborates with Epic Principal trainer to test and modify training materials
- Serves as a learning management system administrator for assigned courses
- Tracks registration, attendance, and completion of training
- Displays enthusiasm for serving others
- Generates enthusiasm with team members, end users, and partners in support of change management efforts
- Leads others to adhere to established industry best practices, standards, and quality
- Reports daily to Training Manager
Requirements
Experience:
- Must have completed at least 4 classroom training projects as a Credentialed Trainer in at least one of the following modules: Ambulatory, Ambulatory/ Provider, and Radiant/ Cupid
- Must be willing to travel onsite to Mountain West locations as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent public speaking
- Familiarity with virtual as well as onsite classroom teaching
- Thorough expertise in Microsoft platforms including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Thorough troubleshooting skills
- Self-confidence and interpersonal skills
- Good communication (both verbal and written) skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team oriented
- Passion for creating great user experience through high quality and customer service
- Ability and desire to thoroughly learn new technologies and systems quickly
- Ability to work evenings or weekends and overnight travel in support of customers or major projects
