Tenfold is working with an operationally focused private equity firm that specializes in middle-market companies within business services, TMT, and industrials sectors. Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Private Equity Associate to join their team.
About the Opportunity:
Our client is ramping up deal flow and evaluating several opportunities, focusing on the most thematically aligned investments. With deals ranging from $45 million to $150 million in enterprise value, the firm is dedicated to making meaningful investments and driving value creation.
This role offers the chance to be heavily involved in the entire transaction process, from deal sourcing and execution to portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation of potential acquisitions.
- Prepare investor materials, pitchbooks, and presentations for institutional capital-raising.
- Lead transaction execution, including financial modeling, negotiation, structuring, and legal documentation.
- Source new investment opportunities through proactive outreach and conference attendance.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies to ensure performance aligns with value creation plans, potentially taking on board observer roles.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in private equity or investment banking
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields; MBA is a plus
- Strong financial modeling skills and experience in M&A processes
- Highly motivated, problem-solving mindset, with a proven ability to handle high-pressure situations
