This is a start up with a Vietnamese company that manufactures and assembles solar panels. This is the first manufacturing facility in the US with plans to hire 800 people within the next two years. The role is located in Greenville, NC.
SUMMARY:
In order to improve the company's internal environmental management and energy management level, to ensure that the
company's environmental protection and energy comply with the latest laws and regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the plant sewage treatment, waste gas, wastewater discharge and other
- environmental protection work supervision.
- Responsible for the plant hazardous waste contact outsourcing treatment.
- Responsible for docking work with environmental protection and other government departments.
- Responsible for the plant annual safety, environmental objectives of management and control.
- Responsible for the daily environmental inspection of the plant.
- Responsible for the coastal plant EPA compliance.
- Completion of other tasks assigned by the manager.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Education:
- College degree or above Environmental related majors
- Experience:
- More than 5 years of environmental related work experience
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of quality management system
- Knowledge of environmental protection
- Excellent professional competence
- Excellent resilience
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Excellent ability to handle emergencies
