The Candidate will be trained in compiling and analyzing case facts and draft correspondence to USCIS, DOL, DOS and clients. Identifying issues in cases, evaluate foreign national's eligibility and conduct legal research. Prepare, file, and monitor status of NIV and IV petitions for corporate and individual clients including PERM, H-1B, H-2B, L-1, TN, O-1/EB1, EB2/3, E-2, E-3, B-1/2, etc. The candidate must be able to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment and will be required to stay abreast of changes in immigration regulations.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Advise and assist in the preparation and filing of nonimmigrant worker petitions, employment-based permanent resident applications (specifically H-1B, L-1, PERM applications and I-140 petitions), and responses to RFEs, NOIRs, and NOIDs.
- Advise and assist with USCIS FDNS Site Visits, audits, and other government communication.
- Advise and assist with Form I-9 compliance.
- Work with various business units and outside counsel to facilitate the case preparation process.
- Enforce immigration compliance via internal policy guidelines and practices.
- Provide education and advice to various internal stakeholders regarding U.S. immigration law issues.
- Work on ad-hoc immigration law related projects as assigned.
- Provide reports for management review.
The Candidate must be licensed to practice law in any state.
