Who we’re looking for:
Someone who loves products and loves spending time out in retail. You like to follow and discover trends and share your knowledge with the team. You like to analyze spreadsheets, troubleshoot, and problem-solve independently. As part of the product management team, you will work closely with sales, design, product development, and global sourcing to ideate, develop, and launch new products into the marketplace for our exciting and diversified customer base.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Develop product lines for various retail, entertainment, and cruise line customers
· Establish the pricing strategy, product line structure, and margin parameters
· Identify new product opportunities by sales channel and consumer base
· Conduct market assessments for various retail customers
· Research competition to keep up to date on the retail landscape
· Works directly with global supply team and worldwide suppliers to develop new products and programs, ensuring products meet cost, quality, and innovation requirements.
· Analyze existing product performance to recommend go-forward line structure
· Develop merchandising plans and plan-o-grams
· Communicate action plans and project details to other departments
· Participate in sales meetings and communicate details/action plans to team
· Reviewing and approving product samples, product presentations, and instructions
· Assist in creating & maintaining documents to track product programs
· Continuously improve company-wide product database
· Maintain database of retail merchandising units and pricing
· Maintain new product ideas database
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
· Google Suite – Sheets, Slides, Docs, Drive, Gmail
· Microsoft Suite - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
· Degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising or a related field
· Experience in Retail Product Management
· Strong financial acumen, analytical, and technical skills
· Familiar with the retail landscape, retail packaging, and merchandising
· Experience using Monday.com or similar project management tools
· Comfortable speaking up and contributing fresh ideas and ways to improve processes
· Experience working with Creative teams and approving creative work
· Must be adaptable to working in a rapidly changing and evolving environment. Balance numerous projects and tight timelines.
· You take feedback easily and communicate directly when there is an issue
· Ability to work productively both from home and in the office with our hybrid schedule
General Information:
· Bachelors preferred in Business, Marketing, and Merchandising
· Experience: 2-3 years or more, preferably retail, product management and manufacturing
· Schedule: Hybrid – this position requires three in-office days each week

This position offers a competitive compensation package, with pay commensurate with experience within the $55,000 - $65,000 range.
