Job Description:
The candidate must have expertise with Word and be fluent in PowerPoint and Excel. Minor photography skills are also required.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering and operations training staff to create manufacturing instructions.
- Provide documentation on new equipment and processes.
- Manage the list of documents that need to be created or updated.
- Take and edit photos of control panels and equipment for inclusion in documentation.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience as a technical writer; manufacturing instructions experience is desirable but not required.
- A two-year associate degree or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred.
This role is a Monday to Friday position, ideally in a hybrid or onsite model, and will involve taking photos to include in documentation. Content will be provided by engineering and operations, and the individual in this role will format all materials for optimal usability by operators.
