6-MONTH MATERNITY COVERAGE - HIGH END CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY for Sr. Executive Assistant to Managing Director, Financial Services, Boston.
About the Company/Role: High end, boutique and incredibly stable investment firm in Boston. Company has a collaborative and high touch 3 person EA Team. Firm culture is kind and professional- high expectations and a “no edginess” setting. Perks include free lunches on site along with some other incredible highlights. The whole staff is in office 3 days per week (these are set days) and the other two can be remote work. The 3 days in office are not negotiable as they are required for the entire company- hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and there's an hour off for lunch midday. Contract can start as soon as October but must start by November and commitment is through April (2025). The company is investing in a generous overlap with the EA who’s going out on leave to ensure you’re set up for success, so it’s important that you remain committed for the entirety of the assignment, when the EA is expected back- in April.
What you'll do: provide primary support to one Managing Directors on the Investment Team, plus some ancillary support to two others. The scope of responsibility ranges from heavy global travel management to updating information in their research database, coordinating key opinion leader/industry expert research calls, sometimes sit in on the calls to take notes, and a variety of calendar and meeting management functions, plus about 30% personal business support (personal/ family travel and other reservations and appointment setting).
About you: you’re experienced working for a high-profile executive/leader in a traditional high level EA capacity- if you have finance industry experience, that’s a plus! A high service level is your standard (think 5-star hotel ease, but with a non-formal, non-stuffy vibe) and you’re an expert with highly detailed logistics, especially around global and domestic travel planning. A collaborative- not competitive EA team is your jam! You appreciate work life balance and are welcoming of a somewhat traditional role- with some need to troubleshoot travel off hours, but otherwise will enjoy leaving work behind at the end of the day. If desired, there’s also opportunity to get involved in helping with some investment research and to have another whole element to the role (that piece is optional, but current EA is doing this).
– highly competitive pay rate, dependent upon experience
