Job Description:
- Mechanically design a tank battery and SWD from scratch including full process design and process modeling, Material selection, and Pipe, valve, fitting selection meeting all relevant codes and standards.
- Size and write bid requests for all rotating equipment.
- Size and write bid requests for all skidded equipment and pressure vessels.
- Develop Corrosion/erosional design, Control system design, and review and approve execution plans from project engineers.
- Review and approve MOCs, Lead HAZOPs, and assist operations with troubleshooting and operability.
- Write all major equipment RFQ’s, Create and redline P&IDs and Plot Plans.
- Technical interface with vendors/suppliers.
- Teach and train other engineers.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience as Facilities Engineer
- Ability to design a tank battery and SWD from scratch including full process design and process modeling.
- Experience with MOCs, HAZOPs, and assisting operations with troubleshooting and operability.
- Experience with P&IDs and Plot Plans.
- Understanding of environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of equipment spacing for operability, safety, and cost.
