About the Role
Our Premises Liability Team manages a diverse range of cases, including the defense of restaurants, retail stores, sports clubs, attractions, theaters, and other businesses in matters involving general liability, premises liability, and business litigation. Associates work closely with lead attorneys daily, engaging in all phases of litigation—from case evaluation and discovery to trial presentation—focusing on strategic thinking to achieve client goals.
Responsibilities
- Attending court hearings, participating in site inspections, taking and defending depositions
- Propounding and responding to written discovery.
- Evaluating, analyzing, assessing, and executing litigation strategies.
- Proactively manage communications with clients throughout the course of litigation.
- Opportunity to mediate, arbitrate, and try cases while learning from the firm’s experienced ABOTA trial attorneys.

Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
- Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
- Demonstrated experience in premises liability litigation, preferably within a law firm setting.
- Strong legal research and writing skills, with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written.

- Salary starting at $120,000- $165,000+ bonus. Salary is commensurate with experience.
