OVERVIEW:
The Assistant Warehouse Manager will be responsible for assisting in the management of day to day operations of our warehouses located in Blauvelt, NY and Northvale, NJ and will report to the Warehouse Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hands-on management of all aspects of warehouse, including but not limited to:
- Pick – Pack
- Kitting / Production
- Shipping & Receiving
- Customer Relations
- Employee Training on systems and processes
- Manage accurate inventory control procedures
- Performing performance reports and providing them to Group Operations Manager
- Performance Reports defined as:
- On-time delivery of product
- Inventory Accuracy
- Fulfillment Rate
- Maintain safety & security standards set forth by upper management
- Screening and hiring employees
- Manage a team of 6 – 12 direct reports
- EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- College degree (preferred)
- 3 – 5 years of Warehousing and Operations based experience
- Computer Proficient
