Job Responsibilities
- Work with a professional technical staff in projects related to product development, process development or application development depending on the work area of the job.
- Laboratory work involving new experiments and sample preparation.
- Operates a variety of physical and mechanical testing instruments following all SOPs and safety requirements
- Accurately measures, records and reports of data.
- Follow safety and housekeeping procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
The candidate should have 2-3 years of experience working in a physical testing environment
- Must have the ability to read, communicate and comprehend written and oral instructions in English
- Must have excellent laboratory skills, i.e. be willing to handle chemicals, equipment, delicate instrumentation, etc. carefully and safely
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and bring projects to completion in a timely fashion
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of weight, volume, and distance
- Must be flexible and versatile in order to handle changing laboratory needs and to serve a variety of functions or technologies as the business demands
Additional Qualifications
- Must have competent PC computer skills, e.g. Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
- Must be able to effectively communicate one-on-one and in small group situations
- Must have manual dexterity sufficient to use wide variety of standard lab equipment and ability to operate standard office equipment
- Must have the ability to learn quickly to utilize software related to specific techniques
- Must have skills in manipulation of data, mathematical formulae, calibration procedures, record keeping, and mechanical aptitude
- Must have the ability to learn quickly to utilize software related to specific techniques
Associate Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED

- Must be at least 18 years old
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $25.00 - $25.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
