Compa Industries is searching for qualified candidates for Project Engineer 3/4 positions at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Salary: $66/hr - $90/hr

Impact
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities. Through meticulous planning and oversight, you will help maintain the integrity of our mechanical, electrical, chemical, and radiological systems, ultimately contributing to the safety and productivity of our entire organization.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and review work packages, including time, material, and labor estimates, as well as written step-by-step instructions, procedures, and safety/testing requirements.
- Oversee the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification activities within designated facilities or areas.
- Resolve work constraints and bring work packages to final closure.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to the equipment and systems under your purview.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 years of related experience in a similar planning or operations role.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical specifications and work instructions.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, chemical, and/or radiological equipment and systems.
- Experience in developing and implementing safety protocols and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Relevant technical or engineering degrees are preferred.
