Performs complex, diversified administrative, clerical, operational and strategic functions. Oversees and maintains the TUHS Medical Staff Affairs Credentialing Database. Provides reports, administrative support, and manages special projects for Department Leadership, Officers and Committees of the Medical Staff. Develops and maintains a data dictionary for database entries. Ensures data integrity of the database.
**This is a hybrid position and requires regular onsite days.**
Education
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
2 Years experience in database management. (Required)
3 Years experience in physician credentialing in a health care environment. (Preferred)
General Experience and knowledge of physician credentialing software (Preferred)
General Experience and knowledge of the Joint Commission standards, PA Department of Health regulations, and PA State Board of Medicine licensure requirements. (Preferred)
