Overview:
On behalf of a well-established client in the steel fabrication and erection industry, we are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is perfect for an organized and enthusiastic self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced environment. The company specializes in structural steel projects and works with general contractors throughout New England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee structural steel projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
- Lead project planning, coordination, and execution across multiple teams.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Provide leadership to project teams, driving accountability and ensuring safety compliance.
- Conduct risk management assessments, ensure quality control, and review shop drawings.
- Assist with steel erection engineering and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Ensure accurate documentation and regular reporting on project status.
- Build strong relationships with team members at all levels and effectively resolve challenges that arise.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in project management or engineering, ideally within the construction or structural steel industries.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Proven organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience reviewing blueprints and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and its application to job management.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with structural steel or miscellaneous metals.
- Experience using Bluebeam Revu or Tekla software.
