Overview: Graniterra- a leading stone countertop importer and fabricator is seeking a dynamic and organized Office Manager to join our team at a 26-person company. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our office operations, including accounting (Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable), payroll management, inventory control, and general administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in these areas and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting:
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
- Ensure accurate financial recordkeeping and assist with financial reporting.
- Reconcile accounts and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Payroll Management:
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve any issues.
- Inventory Control:
- Maintain and update inventory records.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking when necessary.
- Collaborate with sales and management on purchase orders.
- General Administrative Functions:
- Provide administrative support, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
- Oversee office supplies and equipment, making sure everything is well-maintained and adequately stocked.
- Assist in the onboarding of new employees and maintain personnel records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in accounting, AR, AP, and payroll management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or construction practices is a plus.
