**Pay will be based on experience**
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager (or experienced Superintendent) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in highway construction, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee all aspects of highway construction projects from planning through completion.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Manage project risks, including identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Lead project teams, providing direction, mentoring, and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within the highway construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale highway construction projects.
- Strong understanding of highway construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
