The role involves global leadership of the information technology department, ensuring the consistent adoption of modern IT software and technologies to enhance process efficiency. This position is responsible for designing and continuously auditing the organization’s global IT infrastructure, identifying risks, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities from a cybersecurity perspective in alignment with various security standards (such as NIST and ISO).

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Manage (policies, practices and all aspects) of global IT function to achieve reliable, cost-effective and secure information services in support of corporate systems aligned with business strategies and requirements.
- Ensure that there is an approved global IT architecture and plan covering the following: applications (centralized and distributed), computer hardware, networking and infrastructure, voice and data communications technology, and security. Determine those aspects of information technology that will be satisfied by internal vs. external resources.
- Support the overarching objective of global standardization of information technology solutions, identify and justify exceptions to global standards.
- Facilitate information systems investments and improvements which will contribute to overall business process improvements. Maintain awareness of emerging technology trends to achieve appropriate introduction rate and timing of new technology..
- Creation and execution of security strategies that will increase the efficiency of IT systems and projects.
- Directing crisis management by investigating the cause of a security breach and implementing the right solutions including an appropriate disaster recovery plan(s).
- Overseeing vulnerability audits, penetration tests and forensic IT investigations, ensuring that any outcomes are understood and applied.
- Responsible for physical security controls that are designed to prevent unauthorized personnel from gaining physical access to sensitive components.
- IT Global Talent Management – responsible for the assessment, recruitment and development of global IT positions
- The role requires some international travel, comprising approximately 15% per year.
Education/Experience/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical discipline, MBA a plus.
- 10+ years total IT experience with minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar global position.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferable.
- 10+ experience with infrastructure and security.
- Ability to lead global teams.
