My client is a boutique, operator and owner specialized in storage solutions and RV rentals with roughly $150M AUM and presence across five states in the USA. The team offers a flat hierarchy and direct exposure to senior leadership as well as full cycle involvement in the real estate transactions.
About the Role:
The Acquisitions Associate will be responsible for all aspect of real estate acquisitions of storage properties and RV rental storage solutions across various states. This role will perform all duties from financial modeling, underwriting, due diligence, closing and be able to observe asset management of the assets.
Qualifications:
- BA in Finance, Investments, Real Estate or related field
- 2+ years' experience in real estate investments, and/or acquisitions
- Ability to underwrite complex transactions in excel using (pre-existing models or creating models)
- Exposure to due diligence, (and preferred: closing and handover)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Entrepreneurial mindset, individual drive and team spirit
This role offers a hybrid work schedule with 2 days from the Chicago office.
