Job Description
- Independently performs land development engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives with general oversight from the supervisor and/or Project Manager
- Responsible for the preparation of due diligence studies and site planning
- Design of grading/drainage, water/wastewater systems, stormwater detention facilities
- Responsible for permitting construction documents and reports
- Work closely with other team members, and local review agencies and interact with clients
- Civil engineering land development, infrastructure design, and construction document preparation for roads, parking areas, storm drainage systems, stormwater management facilities, utilities-water mains, sanitary sewers, sediment, and erosion control, and outline specifications
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a PE in Florida
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D AutoCAD Civil 3D, grading, alignments, profiles, corridors, earthwork, and experience with pipe networks, detention, storm sewer design
- Understanding of local and state agency codes and ordinances relevant to the construction plan approval process
